Hope House Kids

Gathered for Chapel
We've been 2 weeks here at Hope House and SO much has happened.  I told myself I NEEDED to get caught up on posting because new things are taking place every day!!  We've been learning names, teaching English, reading, math, drama, photography, dance, art and just building relationships and worshiping with these amazing kids!  They're all so awesome and we have a good laugh together (mostly at Grace and mine's expense). You should just see the two of us, towering above all these little Thai kids, teaching them our antics and hopefully making some sense!  Teaching is a funny thing.  You pour out with hopes that something will stick, but not only that, you hope for some response too.  It's a full time mental job. As previously stated, I have a whole new respect for those who teach.

God is moving on young hearts

My sister loves these kids
We took the kids to a park for the afternoon, they LOVED it!

This is Wootachai, it's hard not to have favorites!  (Right moms and dads?)

First time on a roller coaster!  The different reactions crack me up!

The boys are ready!

The whole crew!

  1. Awe, how great! I loved the one of Grace and the little one kneeling next to her! Something just always happens on the inside when you see something like that.

Just all the pictures you are shooting are capturing the beauty of what you are seeing in the kids. It is transparent and even tangible at times through the computer screen. It is breath taking.
