What day is it???

Arriving in Thailand - a dream come true!
Spent the night on the airport floor in Bangkok.  Trying to make the most of an uncomfortable situation before catching our connecting flight to Chiang Mai

First official Thai meal - Noodle soup with pork
They make everything incredibly beautiful
The sad realities of sin

A tuk-tuk,Thailand's version of an auto-rickshaw.

Here's the bathroom in our room - alfresco

Breakfast!  Pork satay and sticky rice, yum!
It's all smiles here!  Happy to be in Thailand and having a whole different experience from India.  This land is clean, organized (fairly), fragrant and there's surprises around every corner.  I could see myself here - don't worry - not moving. Besides, India is in my blood.
We will be spending the month of February in Chiang Mai at Hope House where we will be teaching 53 children English, Math, Art, Photography, Drama, World Culture and of course, Bible class.  It's been wonderful so far and we take on each day's challenge as it comes.  Grace and I are great travel buddies and find the humor in almost anything, even 2 little Thai boys staring into your office window in the dark!
